Join the growing science fiction community of Türkiye.
Yerli Bilimkurgu Yükseliyor is an independent science fiction platform based in Türkiye and one of the leading initiatives dedicated to promoting science fiction literature in the country.
Founded in 2017, the platform brings together writers and readers who share a passion for science fiction through its digital magazine, anthologies and collaborative projects.
The magazine has been published continuously for years and is approaching its 100th issue milestone, an important moment for the Turkish science fiction community.
Anthologies
In addition to the magazine, the platform has published five science fiction anthologies (2018, 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2024).
These books are printed editions bringing together stories by many different authors.
The sixth anthology is planned for publication this year.
So far, the anthologies have featured stories by approximately 250 authors.
In addition, 238 authors have contributed stories, articles and essays to the magazine itself.
International Authors
For several years we have also been publishing stories by international writers.
Authors from countries such as Poland, Romania and Ukraine have already appeared in our magazine, and we are always happy to welcome new voices from around the world.
Selected stories by international authors are published:
• in their original language together with a Turkish translation, or
• in English and Turkish together.
This allows authors to reach both international readers and Turkish science fiction fans.

Payment
Please note that Yerli Bilimkurgu Yükseliyor is a volunteer-driven, non-commercial platform.
At the moment we are not able to offer payment for published stories.
Our goal is to provide a space where writers can freely share their imagination with a growing science fiction community.
Future Projects
We are also open to preparing an international science fiction anthology featuring writers from different countries.
We look forward to discovering new voices and new worlds in science fiction.
